Steve T Mims, CCIM

Since obtaining his NM Associate Broker License in 2020, Steve has facilitated over $23 million in real estate volume for sellers, buyers, and tenants. In January 2025, he became the Qualifying Broker at NAI 1st Valley. As a CCIM designee, Steve brings elite expertise in market insight, financial analysis, property valuation, and complex underwriting, enabling him to successfully guide clients through sophisticated commercial transactions.

Steve’s background includes more than 30 years in the fire service, including 25 years with the Las Cruces Fire Department, where he rose to Deputy Chief before retiring in 2019. This career instilled disciplined thinking, stakeholder coordination across complex organizations, crisis management, and the operational perspective that institutional clients and sophisticated investors value. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and an Associate in Applied Science in Fire Science Technology—educational credentials that reflect his commitment to continuous professional development.

A Southern New Mexico native, Steve combines intimate regional market knowledge with absolute integrity and dedication. In the community, he mentors the next generation of leaders as a coach for the local Youth Hunter Education Challenge (YHEC) team.
