Steve T Mims, CCIM

Steve Mims attained his NM Associate Brokers License in May of 2020 and his NM Qualifying Brokers License in January 2025. Over the past four years Steve has excelled in assisting sellers, buyers, lessees, and lessors with multiple transactions totaling over $23 millions dollars in real estate. 

As a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designee, Steve has demonstrated proficiency in financial analysis, market analysis, and investment decision making, which enables him to assist his customers and clients in meeting their real estate needs. Steve provides comprehensive guidance based on his knowledge of market conditions, local regulations, and financial analysis. Steve prides himself on his communication, dedication, and integrity that he brings to every interaction with customers and clients. 

As a Southern New Mexico native, Steve has an intimate knowledge of the area. Steve has been married for 27 years and has raised three children. Prior to joining NAI 1st Valley, Steve was an Associate Broker for Steinborn TCN, served as a volunteer firefighter for over 30 years and was employed with the Las Cruces Fire Department from 1993 until he retired in March 2019. 

Steve is a graduate of Mayfield High School, Universal Technical Institute, New Mexico State University, and Columbia Southern University attaining degrees in Fire Science and Organizational Leadership. In Steve’s spare time he enjoys spending time outdoors camping, fishing, hunting, riding, and mentoring the youth of our community. Steve is currently a coach with a local youth shooting sports club where he mentors youth in the eight disciplines of the Youth Hunter Education Challenge (YHEC) for state and regional competitions.
