Background & Experience
Hal entered the commercial real estate industry in 1983 as an affiliate broker in Nashville specializing in suburban office and industrial space. He later helped form a partnership to meet the demands of an emerging market in office, industrial, retail and land acquisition. This ultimately led to the formation of a general partnership to develop industrial property in Huntsville, Alabama. To date, that partnership has developed, or acquired, close to 330,000 s.f. of industrial space in the airport corridor of Huntsville.

Hal has negotiated leases with such companies as Airborne Express, American Airlines, American Hospital Supply, Advanced Micro Devices, AT&T, Air Products and Chemicals, Data General (now EMC Corporation), DHL, Goddard Space Flight Services, Marsh – McLennan and Companies, OMNI Packaging, Philip Morris, Pilot Air Freight, S&D Coffee, Standard Register, The News Group, and Yale Carolina’s.

During his career, Hal has been active in the Tennessee, Alabama and Texas markets, which provides a wealth of experience in recognizing the unique nature of applied real estate law in various states. This can be an asset to a client with a desire for a broad based portfolio. During his professional life, Hal has been a member and/or officer in a number of Chambers of Commerce, National Association of Realtors, Nashville Board of Realtors, and Texas Association of Realtors. Currently, Hal specializes in the sale of large land tracts, leasing and sales of industrial, office and retail properties.
