US News & World Report recently published a list of “10 Cities for Real Estate Steals”; in which Las Cruces was ranked #6. They speculate that Las Cruces will emerge as one of the most rapidly expanding markets in the country over the next decade. BusinessWeek Ranks Las Cruces #8 in New Growth!
An interesting article was published last week in BusinessWeek, ranking Las Cruces #8 of 20 Strongest Building Markets. The article discusses several markets around the nation where growth is happening, despite the economic downturn nationwide.

Retailers Returning to El Paseo

Retail space on north El Paseo Road is proving to be a hot commodity now that Pro’s Ranch Market has committed to opening its grocery store in Las Cruces. Pro’s is set to occupy the space that was formerly the Community Action Agency (CAA), which sits between a dreary shopping plaza that has seen more tumbleweeds than customers during the past year.
