Our very own Hal Henthorne has been recognized by the Las Cruces Sun News as one of the “Movers and Shakers of 2012″. Hal joined our office not too long ago, and has been a valuable asset to NAI 1st Valley, and a wonderful person to work with! Hal is also the president of the board of directors of the Las Cruces Downtown Partnership (LCDP), a nonprofit organization of businesses and individuals who are promoting downtown revitalization.
Mayor Ken Miyagishima said of Hal:
“Hal has been instrumental in elevating the success of the Las Cruces Downtown Partnership,” Miyagishima said. “Through that vision and those efforts I believe the downtown will be transforming in the city’s place of the decade. In the 1980s, the emphasis in the city was on El Paseo (Road), everybody wanted to locate (their business) there. In the ’90s, and into the 2000s, it was Roadrunner Parkway and then Sonoma Ranch Boulevard.
“Now it’s downtown, and downtown is hot and going to get hotter.”
