1st Valley Gets “Deal of The Year” Award

Randy McMillan, President of NAI 1st Valley, was recognized with the Marketing Deal of The Year Award by the New Mexico Chapter of the elite Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) organization. The award was presented at the annual meeting of the New Mexico Commercial Association of Realtors held November 20th in Albuquerque.

Judged by a panel of commercial real estate peers, the award acknowledges the professional, creative and efficient utilization of strategic methods and marketing tools. McMillan won in the over $1 million project category for his succesful disposition of the former Border Foods industrial site on Amador Avenue in Las Cruces. The complex consisted of 58,000 square feet of industrial buildings and 55 acres of land.

McMillan said, “I’m grateful these prestigious organizations broadened the scope of their search beyond Albuquerque to Las Cruces; and am honored by the recognition given our work and the efforts of those in my office – we have a great research and marketing staff.”

The CCIM Institute is comprised of an elite corps of some 9,000 professionals who hold the CCIM designation across North America and more than 30 countries.  Only six percent of the estimated 150,000 commercial real estate practitioners nationwide hold the CCIM designation, which reflects not only the rigors of the educational requirements and caliber of the program, but also why it is one of the most respected designations in the industry.
