NAI 1st Valley Honored at Global Convention
NAI 1st Valley, and its Founder Randy McMillan won major awards in a ceremony on January 31 at the NAI Global 2008 Convention in Las Vegas. NAI 1st Valley was recognized by NAI Global with two top awards for its performance in 2007. In addition, Randy was named to the NAI Global Elite, a group comprised of the organization’s top performers and top producers in 2007.
NAI Global is the world’s premier network of commercial real estate brokerage firms and one of the largest real estate services providers worldwide. NAI manages a network of 8,000 professionals and 375 offices in 55 countries – more than any firm in the world.
NAI 1st Valley was chosen from among NAI member firms in the United States to be honored with “The Eagle Award.” NAI’s top award, The Eagle Award is presented annually to the company that most embodies the qualities of NAI membership: leadership, capital resources, commitment to quality, and sharing the NAI Global vision.
In addition, Randy McMillan, Principal and NAI Business Director at NAI 1st Valley, received the “Chairman’s Award.” The Chairman’s Award recognizes the NAI Business Director who best exemplifies the Right Stuff as its relates to the effective management of an NAI office, including leadership, business generation, service delivery, participation in enterprise initiatives and integration of NAI tools and resources throughout the firm.
Randy was joined at the awards banquet by his wife Carol and members of the 1st Valley family. “This was an amazing and exciting evening – seeing Randy win two out of the three awards he was nominated for is a high light of the year” commented Luke Ikard, Associate Broker. Randy added: “We have been blessed with great clients, business associates, and a crew that is family – it’s an honor to be recognized in this way.”
1st Valley competed in the Tertiary Market Division against other firms doing business in metropolitan areas of 500,000 or less. More than 1,250 commercial real estate professionals and clients from around the world participated in the annual event.
Also, Randy McMillan, NAI 1st Valley’s Qualifying Broker, recently earned his CCIM Designation. A Certified Commercial Investment Member is a recognized expert in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate and this designation is valued. Randy is now the only real estate broker in Southern New Mexico with the CCIM and SIOR (Specialist, Industrial and Office Real Estate) designations.
