Louis Edwards has joined the 1st Valley family and is learning the ropes from Annette Hicks, who is moving with her husband to Albuquerque.  Mr. Edwards will manage the business of the business: assisting brokers, coordinating efforts with staff and directing the efforts of the independent contractors who contribute to the work.

“NAI 1st Valley is a unique business, the staff truly is like family, and the heart to serve our clients is genuine.  That culture comes from the top and it’s a pleasure to be a part of it” said Mr. Edwards.

Louis and his wife Judy have called Las Cruces home for almost three years – first visiting and buying land in June of 2005.

“Our parents in Houston and Phoenix reached an age that made it impossible to honor them from a distance; and after 34 years in Alaska we are very happy to enjoy the friendly people, warm culture, and of course great food in Cruces” the Edwards’ shared.

Mr. Edwards brings over 25 years of business management experience to NAI 1st Valley.  He has managed marine operations for Southwest Alaska Pilots Association and Holland America Line – Westours; and also as an Executive Director of a non-profit in Anchorage.  He also has sales and marketing experience in media and residential home sales.
